Belfast School of Art – EOY2017

I have been commissioned for the last number of years years to create an end of year video about the annual shows at the Belfast School of Art. The films are intended for showing at the Annual Arts Awards, but also for showing the work of the College on other occasions.

This year I asked if we I could adopt a little more documentary approach and look more at the student perspective; their journey and prospects looking forward. The film set out to show a little insight into how study and its efforts, fits into a broader panorama of personal and industry perspectives.  

I am grateful to all the participants for their generous sharing of time and thoughts and to the University staff for facilitating access to the shows alone for most of a week.
